The international brands that I work for understand the necessity of having representation 'on the ground' when entering a new territory, but don't want the initial high cost of setting up a company in an untried market. They want a direct relationship with French retailers and are reluctant to sell through a distributor.
Working with Nikki Field Consulting means that you can avoid the expense of having an office and employees in France, while retaining a personal presence and local knowledge. As your consultant or country manager I am your brand in France, working closely with you and the buyers. In addition, I manage the day-to-day business development, implementing your strategy and bringing your message to the French consumer.
I offer the following services, tailored to your requirements, on a fee and commission basis:
- Preparation of products for sale in France (for example, translation, registration, and listing documents)
- Identification of suitable retail outlets, contact buyers, and selling-in of the brand
- Mediation between you and the buyer
- In-store merchandising, training, and demos
- Advice on market trends and promotional opportunities
- Liaison with your PR agency to maximise visibility and sales potential in conjunction with in-store activities
Note: I do not buy and sell your products. I am your intermediary, overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day business. You (the supplier) make deliveries directly to the buyer's platform. Invoicing and payment is carried out directly between you and the buyer.
